Many rural schools are struggling to meet the basic needs of students. We have selected the schools in Kyawazaru and Kyarono for our first project. Being rural, the majority of students will graduate into the agriculture industry, most as subsistence farmers. The communities of Kyawazaru and Kyarono are poor and lack clean water. This need produces significant health and development challenges in these communities. The primary and secondary schools there (with upwards of 2000 students) will benefit from the completion of the Kyawazaru projects. OnMission is very excited to be engaging in this work.
